Homeward Bound

Homeward Bound

This long straight road near my home is always a pleasant drive, especially in the morning. The old massive trees form a canopy over the road, while I feel like I'm driving through infinity!  My goal was to try to captivate the beautiful light.  It's hard to believe we are moving into another season already!

  1. Love drives like that and you captured it beautifully! I have a section of road that is like traveling in a tree tunnel.

    1. Thank you, Debi. This painting was a new stretch for me. I really wanted to capture the beautiful light of the road I travel so often. It helped that I was so familiar with the subject.
