Sunflower Medley

Sunflower Medley
12x12 inches, Original Oil on Archival Panel

Mother Nature is playing tricks on us again.  Here in South Carolina, we have already enjoyed warm weather.  Our azaleas are beginning to bloom, but tonight we may get snow!  It will only be a dusting.  I wanted to go to the nursery today to begin picking out spring flowers, but that will have to wait.

Cobalt glass and sunflowers... two of my favorite things.  I've had this vase forever, but I really don't use it because it no longer works with my decor.  Now I just try to paint it.  I used a combination of palette knife and brush for a little texture.

I hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful, and warm weekend!
