Lamb Study

Lamb Study
6x8 inches, Original Oil on Panel

Happy February!  Now that I have completed thirty marsh scenes for the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" Challenge, my thought was to try painting something different.  This study was painted from a photo reference taken while my husband and I visited the English countryside last summer.  I loved the wide open pastures, with sheep grazing everywhere.  I haven't painted many animals, and it's something I'd like work on.  Have a great weekend everyone!

  1. I love your lamb, Linda and look forward to seeing more of your paintings. Your marsh series is my favorite of all the 30 in 30 artists. So glad to have "met" you!

  4. Linda,
We used to have Karakul sheep grazing not far from our house. They are so cute. I also want to say congrats on al the beautiful marsh paintings. Each one was better than the last.
