Winter Colors
6x6 inches, Original Oil on Panel
Day 7 of Leslie Saeta's 30 in 30.
I started the morning off with good intentions, at my easel with an 11x14 canvas. A few hours later, and countless interruptions, I put aside the canvas and opted for a 6x6 panel and a palette knife. I knew I could at least complete this little guy! Working with a palette knife can be so liberating... the perfect tool when life gets in the way! The day was not a total loss; I accomplished something! I hope you are enjoying a stress-free day!

I really like your marsh paintings. Lots of great atmosphere and color.
ReplyDeleteYes, I was first in line today. Had to beat that Roger Brown at least once in this thirty days. :) Now I can relax.
I still post right around midnight though. My sweetie says we're vampires. I say, "no sweetie ... nightowls." She's Filipino, what'dya gonna do?
Oh, Dave you have great spirit, and sense of humor. Thanks for stopping by!
