It's unusual for me to post twice in one day, but I really wanted to catch up. This painting is actually a study for a 36x36 painting I'm working on. Sometimes I have a difficult time working on small panels, other than when I'm painting plein air. Also I want to use up my supply of gallery wrap canvases ... I have too many!
Beautiful sky Linda, love this one!Do you paint from life or sketches or photos? I have problems with landscapes as I am doing them from photos!

ReplyDeleteMargaret, I do paint plein air a lot, but I have to admit many of these 30 in 30 paintings were painted in my studio. My greatesst reference is living where the view overlooks a marsh ... it's the best reference! Thank you for your comment. I really appreciate it.
Love the expanse of sky,the colours are just stunning!! Having this amazing view is wonderful, but you have the talent and vision to be able to paint these gems!!
