Marsh Serenade

Day 20 -- 30 Paintings in 30 Days
Today was a great day! My mojo is back. Yay! I managed to finish this painting all in one session, and I am really happy about the way it turned out.
In yesterday's post I forgot to mention that my inspiration for these last two paintings derives from my view across the marsh. Around five o'clock in the evening, as the sun begins to set, there's a brilliant orangey glow. I've been working on capturing that amazing light. The beauty of the sun's reflection takes my breath away, and like anything else in nature, it lasts but a few minutes.
Those of us participating in the 30 in 30 Challenge can begin to see light at the end of the tunnel, right? What a journey this has been! Thank you to all my art friends... new and old, for your support and encouragement throughout this run.
Big wow! You have got your groove on painting these beautiful scenes.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words Nancy, Barb, and Judy. You've made my day!
ReplyDeleteAnother gorgeous painting. And another opportunity to make me jealous with the views that you have out your back door. I get to see the houses next door and a vacant lot across the street. Not much worth painting. I'm telling my sweetie we're moving!
ReplyDeleteI think this is my favorite (each day I think that). You've done a wonderful job, and I love the series.
ReplyDeleteDave, it's always good to hear from you. You brighten my day!
ReplyDeleteThank you Cindy. I'm glad you're enjoying my marsh series.
