Brilliant Day
8x10, Original Oil on Panel
Day 17 of 30 Paintings in 30 Days -- I almost decided to paint something else today; but in the end I chose to stick with my theme of marshes. Most of the paintings that I have done for this challenge have been studies, not actual finished paintings. The timer is set for two hours, with a fifteen minute grace period. With this approach, my goal is to learn to be more productive, and less fussy. I'm happy that I was able to complete this 8x10 study in exactly two hours, fifteen minutes. Yay!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
Love the blue sky,I'm so glad you did paint it!!
ReplyDeleteLovely Linda, well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments Azra, and Margaret.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, I'm glad you decided to persist and meet the challenge. The paintings are beautiful, and when you put them together, all 30, you'll have a beautiful series. And don't fret about people being bored by marshes. It is your artistic eye that is teaching us that no marsh is ever the same from one day to the next.
ReplyDeleteI am never bored by your marshes! They are each so different. And Jim is right, what a series this makes. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteYour marshes are never boring; each is so different and I look forward to seeing them. Jim is correct, what a series this will make. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you Jim, and Cindy for your encouraging words.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful marsh painting by Linda. I guess I don't have to tell you where I get some of my inspiration from.
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you Dave!
