Lactose Free

Lactose Free
11x14, Original Oil on Canvas

This is my first cow, and I really had fun painting her.  Many people suffer from lactose intolerance, which means digesting dairy products can be very difficult.  I've been buying lactose-free milk for a while now-- and ice cream, when I can find it.  A few days ago while in the grocery store, I noticed that lactose-free yogurt is available. So, maybe a lactose-free cow could be in our future? Just imagine!

I was confined to taking this photo in my studio today, because of the pouring rain -- so the image may not be the best. Images always turn out better when taken in natural light.

Lactose Free will be hanging in the Hilton Head Art League gallery, in Hilton Head, South Carolina beginning tomorrow.  For purchase information, please contact the gallery here

Also, in other news, I want to give a shout out to my artist friend, Terri Buccholz, who just painted my portrait.  Terri's talent amazes me.  Please check out her blog here.  It never occurred to me that my image might appear on the same page along with a cow -- but here I am!  Thank you for stopping by.
